President & CEO
Interactions

“They have worked tirelessly. They know the market, read each candidate well, and provide solid advice.”

At the end of 2018, Interactions, a VC-backed company leveraging AI and natural language processing to solve customer service challenges for enterprise companies, reached a milestone with $100M in revenue and positive EBITDA and hit an inflection point in their growth cycle. They partnered with The Bowdoin Group on two critical roles for the next stage of their growth: SVP of Product Management and SVP of Professional Services.

For their SVP of Product Management, one of the biggest challenges was that this was their first executive product leader. They were looking for some one who had significant AI experience and who had both product and technical leadership experience. For their SVP of Professional Services, Interactions’ leadership team was looking for someone customer-centric with a deep technical expertise and who had managed an engineering function previously—something that is difficult to uncover. Bowdoin partnered closely with Mike Iacobucci, their President & CEO, and Bruce Bowden, their CFO, to find the right candidates for both these roles.
