Client Opportunity

After having a previous footprint in Europe, F2G opened its US headquarters in late 2021 and began hiring key functions in preparation for launching its leading therapeutic agent, Olorofim. At the time, F2G did not have an internal HR team. They had a part-time HR consultant and wanted to find a scalable and flexible solution to help with the immediate hiring needs while also laying the foundation for growth with newly created processes and systems. Bowdoin was able to immediately start recruiting on critical roles while building a talent acquisition process simultaneously.

The TBG Process

  • In addition to actively sourcing and mapping the market for passive candidates, Bowdoin also managed inbound applicants and referrals for all assigned roles
  • Led the establishment and execution of F2G’s recruiting process across all geographies
  • Worked closely with F2G’s HR team to establish a Talent Acquisition data hub and an effective, scalable onboarding protocol
  • Created and own a shared internal intranet to house all newly created search templates, hiring manager onboarding checklists, and HR documents
  • Assisting the VP of HR in establishing and rolling out a new donation-based internal referral program helping local charities and communities in the F2G world
  • Created one-pagers for clients to help differentiate F2G in the market
  • Worked with the HR team to create board-ready slides to highlight market conditions, talent acquisition strategies and progress throughout the year
  • Held strategy sessions with department heads to evaluate hiring needs and help with organizational design 
  • Created F2G’s first-ever Career’s page with active jobs on their corporate website
  • Developed a Linkedin Life page on F2G’s main account to attract new potential candidates and drive traffic to F2G’s website

F2G has utilized multiple Bowdoin services; Executive Search, Team Expansion, and Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO). Bowdoin’s RPO team has helped support F2G not just in establishing a stable, effective, and scalable search process, but going beyond search services to assist with building HR processes (new employee onboarding, candidate referral program, etc.) Bowdoin has placed over 35 candidates over the past year, ranging functionally from Scientific, Research and Development, General and Admin, and Commercial. We continue to partner with F2G as they prepare for the launch of their first drug this year. During the partnership, F2G brought on a full-time VP of HR who has continued utilizing Bowdoin and extended the partnership based on the tremendous value created.
