The Bowdoin Group Places Chief Technology Officer at Audax Group-Backed Corrona

Corrona CTO TombstoneJanuary 18, 2021 — The Bowdoin Group, an award winning executive search firm with deep expertise in leadership search and strategic company build-outs for growth-stage organizations, is pleased to announce the placement of John Puopolo as the new Chief Technology Officer at Corrona, a provider of real-world evidence through syndicated registry data and analytics services for the Life Sciences ecosystem. In this new role, Puopolo will be responsible for building and streamlining the company’s technology, infrastructure and systems as part of their global leadership team.

Puopolo brings over thirty years of experience designing and managing infrastructure, technology, and systems across the software and cloud computing sectors. Most recently, Puopolo spent the last six years as Senior Vice President of Engineering at Eliza Corporation, a recognized leader in Health Engagement Management. There, he rebuilt the technology organization’s culture to be more customer-oriented, built a new next generation platform, and migrated their technology stack to AWS. Prior to Eliza, Puopolo held senior technology leadership roles as Senior Vice President of Technology at Best Doctors and Chief Technology Officer at both ViewDo Labs (formerly Axceler) and at RapidBuyr.

Among his other accomplishments, Puopolo has written and published two books entitled The F# Survival Guide and Writing Ole/ActiveX Controls. Puopolo holds a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.
