Brian serves as a Principal at The Bowdoin Group, leading executive searches, as well as large-scale team builds across life sciences and healthcare. He partners closely with clients as a strategic advisor, guiding searches from initial scoping through to offer and close. Known for his thoughtful, hands-on approach, Brian works to align talent decisions with the broader business context, ensuring each hire is positioned to drive meaningful impact.
Prior to joining Bowdoin, Brian spent six years at GattiHR, a retained executive search firm focused on Human Resources leadership. As Director of Research, he partnered with organizations ranging from emerging startups to Fortune 500 companies, helping to identify and place talent from the C-suite through Director level roles. His experience across both high-growth and established environments gives him a strong perspective on how leadership needs to evolve as companies scale.
Earlier in his career, Brian spent nearly 13 years at State Street, where he held a range of operational roles, including Manager of Global Trade Processing. This foundation in complex, high-stakes environments informs his ability to navigate nuanced searches and advise clients with precision.
Brian earned his B.S. in Business Management from Providence College. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and following Boston sports.
