By producing ultra-realistic simulations through adaptive learning practices, artificial intelligence, and voice technology, Health Scholars is transforming the landscape of medical training and care delivery.

Their investors, board members, and leadership team partnered with The Bowdoin Group to help bring in a commercially oriented Chief Executive Officer to scale the company after a Series B raise in January of 2020. The client’s goal was to engage with a candidate with expertise in the provider-based Healthcare IT space and experience leading the sales strategy and driving deals through the pipeline.

The perfect candidate:

  • A commercially oriented leader with an executive presence, as well as the ability to create a go-to-market strategy and drive sales deals
  • Deep domain expertise in provider-based Healthcare IT, as well as an understanding of provider-oriented revenue streams and SaaS solution models
  • Proven ability to scale an early-stage business and build a high performing culture

TBG Process

  • Build a list of Healthcare Software, Home Health/Telehealth, Clinical Decision Support, Interoperability, and Population Health companies nationally, and then identify all commercial and business leaders
  • Expand to look at provider based digital health companies and commercial leaders at these companies
  • Network with leaders in the space
