Bio

On August 6, 2021, The Bowdoin Group lost the beloved Sean Walker, Partner, and one of the firm’s founding members.

Sean was an integral and historic player at The Bowdoin Group for 25 years. As a Partner, Sean spearheaded a number of the firm’s practices, most notably, the Digital Health practice, where he established partnerships with the leading healthcare institutions in the country.

Sean defined The Bowdoin Group’s ethos to “expect more.” He never gave less than 150% of himself to his team and clients. Sean worked tirelessly every day to build out companies revolutionizing the healthcare system on behalf of patients, with the steadfast goal of improving patient outcomes and quality of care nation-wide.

An active member of his local community, Sean served on the board of The McCourt Foundation, which raises funds for research and treatments of Multiple Sclerosis and Alzheimer’s diseases.

Sean earned a B.S. in Psychology from St. Anselm College. Residing in Needham, MA with his wife and three children, he ran the Boston Marathon twice and was known as the “loudest in the gym” when coaching his children’s games and cheering on the team. Sean was described by clients and team members alike as the ultimate rainmaker, professional, and friend.

He was a great colleague, father, and man, and The Bowdoin Group was lucky to have him.” – Dave Melville, CEO & Founder of The Bowdoin Group
