Melissa Dietz is a Principal at The Bowdoin Group, where she partners with healthcare and life sciences organizations to build the teams that power growth, innovation, and commercialization. She specializes in leading team build engagements, working closely with clients to translate business objectives into clear hiring strategies and executing against them with precision.
Melissa brings over 25 years of experience in talent acquisition and has a proven track record of delivering in complex, high-stakes environments. She is known for her ability to operate at both the strategic and executional levels, helping clients define the right talent roadmap while staying closely connected to the details that ensure successful outcomes. Her work spans critical functions across clinical, regulatory, and commercial organizations, enabling companies to scale with the right talent at the right time.
Prior to joining Bowdoin, Melissa was a Recruiter at Cardinal Health, where she supported the buildout of the Cordis Division, a global leader in interventional vascular technology. Earlier in her career, she spent over a decade with The Mergis Group, now Randstad Professionals, where she advanced into a Practice Director role, leading recruiting teams and delivering across a wide range of client engagements.
Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts from Baldwin Wallace University. She lives in Powell, Ohio with her husband and has two adult sons. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, sports, and the arts.
