Foundation Medicine, Inc. (FMI) began with an idea to simplify the complex nature of cancer genomics, bringing cutting-edge science and technology to everyday cancer care.  In 2018, FMI engaged with the Bowdoin Group’s Executive Search team to help build their commercial team. More recently, FMI expanded our relationship to become a true inhouse talent acquisition partner. Throughout our partnership, we have been able to complement FMI’s talent team to adjust during different growth periods (ranging from 1 dedicated resource to periods when we a large team of resources supporting them).

  • Bowdoin’s RPO team  was initially engaged to help support the high growth and aggressive hiring goals within the Molecular Team
  • Based on early results, we expanded our support to help build other teams within Operations and add resources to support continued growth
  • Bowdoin has also helped Foundation Medicine think creatively about the talent market and has engaged with research-based market mapping
