The Bowdoin Group Places Christopher Hall as CEO for Khosla Ventures-Backed DiscernDx

Press Release Tombstone - DiscernDx CEOMarch 5, 2021 The Bowdoin Group, an award winning executive search firm with deep expertise in leadership search and strategic company build-outs for high growth companies, is pleased to announce the placement of Christopher Hall as the new Chief Executive Officer at DiscernDx, the Palo Alto-based multi-omics platform backed by Khosla Ventures.

As CEO, Hall will partner closely with the Board and executive team to help the company drive its next evolution as a high performing, industry leading, multi-omics platform. He will be focused on developing and leading the growth strategy, both organically and through acquisitions, while creating additional world-class, disease-agnostic diagnostic technology, data, and analytics products.

Hall brings over 20 years of experience in general management and product development within the diagnostics space. Most recently, Hall served as President, COO, and Chief Commercial officer at Veracyte where he led the company’s commercial entry into endocrinology, business strategy for Veracyte’s products in endocrinology and pulmonology, and took on a greater role with investor relations and corporate strategy. At Veracyte, he also led sales, marketing, laboratory, and customer service operations, as well as managed care and billing functions. Prior to Veracyte, Hall served as SVP and Chief Business Officer, at Berkeley HeartLab, Inc. (part of Celera Corporation), where he helped a new product launch and restructured operations to improve profitability and streamline delivery of services.

Hall holds B.A. in political science and economics from DePauw University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
