Mary McGinn

Bio

Mary brings 20+ years of expertise in executive search, client partnerships, and sales across the Healthcare and Life Sciences industries. She joins The Bowdoin Group as Senior Principal, where she draws on her deep background in executive search consulting and client management to help organizations navigate critical leadership hires and drive growth.

Before joining The Bowdoin Group, Mary spent more than 12 years with The Higgins Group, serving as Executive Vice President of Client Partnerships. In that time, she held multiple senior roles, including Senior Vice President and Vice President, and played a pivotal part in expanding the firm’s executive search practice while cultivating lasting relationships with clients across the Life Sciences and Healthcare sectors. Earlier in her career, Mary built a strong foundation in pharmaceutical sales as a Senior Sales Consultant at Novartis and a Sales Representative at Wyeth, consistently surpassing growth targets. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Villanova University.

Outside of work, Mary stays busy with her two teenage daughters and enjoys sharing meals, laughter, and adventures with her loved ones. She values pursuing hobbies and interests that keep her energized, finding balance, and savoring life’s simple moments.
