Bio

Paul has over 30 years of executive search experience partnering with high-growth, VC/PE-backed, and founder-led companies. He is a Partner at The Bowdoin Group, where he leads the firm’s Delivery function and plays a central role in executing complex, high-profile executive searches across the firm’s verticals.

In his role, Paul oversees search execution, team performance, and client delivery, working closely with Managing Directors and search teams to drive consistent, high-quality outcomes. He is particularly focused on building scalable processes, developing search leadership, and ensuring alignment between client expectations and market realities.

Paul specializes in the recruitment of senior financial and technology leaders, with deep expertise in CFO and CTO searches. He has led numerous engagements for public and private companies, helping to place executives who can navigate growth, commercialization, and operational scale. In addition to CFO and CTO roles, he has completed searches across a range of C-level and functional leadership positions.

Known for his structured, research-driven approach, Paul brings a strong understanding of addressable talent markets and is highly effective at positioning opportunities to attract top-tier candidates while maintaining credibility with both clients and executives.

Prior to joining The Bowdoin Group, Paul founded and served as Managing Director of Open Solutions, a boutique technology search firm, leading the business from inception through acquisition. He holds a B.A. in Marketing with a Minor in Business Information Systems from Roger Williams University.
