Growth Continues at The Bowdoin Group with Two Strategic Hires

Firm adds strategic support to recruiting and branding efforts

WALTHAM, Mass., July 31, 2018 – The Bowdoin Group, an executive search firm with deep expertise in leadership search and strategic build-outs for innovative companies, announced the expansion of their growth efforts, including the strategic hiring of a new Principal based in New York City and a Head of Marketing to lead strategic efforts. Three new associates were also hired to support the firm’s strong growth heading into the summer.

Winston Chou joins Bowdoin as a Principal. In previous roles, he was a Director in the Global Professional Services Practice of a publicly-traded retained search firm and also functioned as a client partner for two global clients, bringing significant retained search experience to Bowdoin. Winston has worked with global consulting and professional services firms in placing lateral Partners and Practice Leaders, and has also built an impressive C-suite track record with clients including Fortune 500 companies and private equity firms. He will continue to focus on clients in digital health, FinTech, financial services, and technology, as well as others. Winston began his career with D.E. Shaw & Co. and is a graduate of Dartmouth College. He lives in New York City with his wife and three children.

Joining as Head of Marketing, Emily Leinbach brings significant industry expertise in marketing and brand building in techand professional services. Emily previously served as Head of Marketing at Progress Partners, a tech- and media-focused boutique investment bank based in Boston. There, she developed and oversaw all strategic marketing activities, including the firm’s C-level summit, Progress Connect. Prior to Progress, Emily had a successful career at Wayfair, driving e-commerce growth strategy for a number of product categories and strategic brands in category management. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Hamilton College, and is a member of the Emerging Leaders Board for the non-profit, Raising A Reader-MA.

The Bowdoin Group is also pleased to welcome three new associates to their recruiting and research divisions. Steve Van Siclen and Bryan Porter both join the firm as Associate Recruiters, and Emma Schiller joins the firm as a Research and Operations Associate.
