Tom brings over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry and strategic-level recruiting to The Bowdoin Group. As a Managing Director, Tom leads the Financial Services practice at the firm. Specializing in identifying and placing exceptional professionals in capital markets, investment management, and financial technology, he has built a strong reputation in the industry. His clients include some of the world’s most elite hedge funds, asset managers, financial technology firms, venture capital, and private equity firms.
Tom’s role has evolved over the 14 years at The Bowdoin Group, helping build out the FinTech vertical before specializing in the Financial Services sector. He has successfully completed searches for Portfolio Managers, Traders, Fundamental Research Analysts, Quantitative Research Analysts, Venture Capital Investors, Private Equity Analysts, Data Scientists, Quantitative Developers, Software Engineers, and Product Managers.
Prior to his role at The Bowdoin Group, Tom began his career in sales at UBS and Tucker Anthony in New York. There, his clients included institutional investment managers, pension funds, regional banks, and high-net worth investors. He has also held several securities licenses, including the Series 7 and Series 63. Tom holds a B.A. in History from Trinity College in Connecticut.
When he’s not in the office, Tom enjoys spending quality time with his wife, daughter, and active twin sons.
