Karen serves as Chief Operating Officer at The Bowdoin Group, where she is responsible for driving operational excellence, customer success, and employee engagement while scaling the business to support continued growth.
Prior to Bowdoin, Karen was Vice President, Sales Strategy and Global Operations at Pegasystems Inc. Karen also spent 13 years at Boston Communications Group, as Chief Financial Officer and Human Resources Executive, where she helped grow the company from a start-up to a publicly held enterprise. Karen holds a B.A. in Accounting from Boston College.
Karen currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Boston College Technology & Entrepreneurship Council and is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Boston Collegiate Charter School. Karen has also been involved in several non-profit initiatives, including co-chairing events to raise funds for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and providing program support to Northeastern University’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business Graduate Career Center. Karen is an outdoor enthusiast who loves to bicycle and ski, often in far-flung places.
